From our 100+ bladeless fans reviews we shortlisted this list of the 15 best bladeless fans. Fans come in several styles from small and compact cooling units to large air circulators. One of the newest types of fans to come on the market is the bladeless fan.
There are two main types of bladeless fans: those shaped like a hollow circle or oval and those shaped like a thin tower. Both offer the ability to cool the air without the worry of dangerous blades. The hollow shaped ones also are easy to clean because of few moving parts. They are also pretty energy efficient. However bladeless fans vary widely in price. Following is my list of the top bladeless fans. I recommend considering all of the features in each type of fan before deciding which fan is best for you.
Dyson AM01 10″ table fan
The most basic, small bladeless fan by Dyson has the great features these fans are known for: easy to clean, fairly quiet, and good air movers. This model comes in 3 color combinations (white/silver, iron/blue, satin/silver). It tilts and oscillates for better air circulation. But instead of a few speeds, it works on a dimmer switch for variable speeds. And like all Dyson bladeless fans, it is easy to clean and comes with a 2 year warranty. Users report it is a bit noisier than some other models but is effective and well priced for this brand.

Dyson AM02 tower fan
This tower fan has an oval shape instead of round but is still quiet and easy to clean. Because it is a larger fan, it spreads air over a large area. Like the other Dyson fans, it is sleek, stylish, and unique looking. It has variable airflow and the Dyson 2 year full warranty. Users say at the highest setting it is a bit noisy and that the remote has to be pointed right at it to work.

Dyson Air Multiplier AM06 table fan
The AM06 is called an air multiplier, which is what most of these bladeless fans are. They work by drawing air inside the circular shape of the fan, then forcing cooler air out into the room. For more information on how these fans work see how air multipliers work The AM06 has a quieting layer over the metal ring and features 10 precise airflow settings and a sleep timer. The remote magnetically attaches to the fan for storage. It includes the Dyson 2 year full warranty. Some users complained the noise increased as the fan got older.

Dyson Air Multiplier AM07 tower fan
This Dyson fan is the newer version of the AM02. It has similar features to the other tower fan: easy to clean and powerful effective cooling. This model has 10 precise airflow settings and a magnetic remote control. Several customers report very responsive customer service.

Dyson Air Multiplier AM08 Pedestal Fan
This Dyson fan is an improvement of the AM03. I did not include the AM03 in this list because there were complaints about noise and durability. The AM08 has a hollow circle set on a taller stand to circulate air better in a larger room. Like the other newer models, this fan has 10 precise airflow settings, a magnetized remote, and a sleep timer. Users do report this is a quiet fan.

Airso Super Quality 10 inch Bladeless Cooling Oscillating Pedestal Table Fan
This fan looks like a Dyson fan but is made by Airso. It is a clean lined, hollow circle on a pedestal base. The fan tilts on the base to direct the air and oscillates with one touch. It also has a dimmer switch to adjust the speed. Like other bladeless fans, it is energy efficient and easy to clean. Users say it does a great job cooling. However, the remote does not work too well and some users say there is a whistling noise at higher speeds. But this model has a much lower price.

Lasko #2554 42 inch Wind Curve Fan
The Lasko #2554 is a tower fan style that is much lower priced than air multipliers but still quiet and safe. It features 3 speeds, an ionizer to capture dust, and a handy remote. Users report it is a very quiet fan that really cools. It can be tough to clean but one user reported a leaf blower did a great job of clearing built up dust inside.

Honeywell Fresh Breeze Tower Fan HY-048BP
Honeywell makes several tower fans which are in a lower price range but really cool off a room or space. The Fresh Breeze has 3 speeds, a timer function, temperature setting, and a remote. Other features include an ionizing function, oscillating head, and washable filter. It uses up little space and can be used to circulate cool or warm air. Users say the “breeze” feature is not very effective and the fan makes some noise when it is on high. Many users like the temperature setting so they can set the desired level and let the fan adjust itself as needed.

Honeywell Comfort Control Tower Fan HY-025
This tower fan features 3 speeds, a timer, and electronic control display. It circulates cool air effectively and is very well priced. The drawbacks to this fan, as with many other similar products, the LED control panel is extremely bright and the base seems flimsy. However users had few problems with this fan.

This Honeywell fan is one step above the Comfort Control Tower with 8 speeds. Similar to the other two Honeywell models, it has a timer, electronic controls, oscillating movement, and good air flow. As with other models, users say the base seems flimsy and the LED lights too bright. But users also said the fan is easy to clean.

Vornado 173 Whole Room Tower Air Circulator
Those who love the Vornado line of fans really like the Vornado 173. It is pretty well priced and really moves air with no visible blades or oscillating. It comes with the “signature v-flow technology” which means it circulates air in multiple directions. It has 3 speeds, a remote control, and energy saving timer. Dyson AM05 Hot + Cool Fan
This unusual fan is both a cool fan and a heater. It is modeled on the style of other Dyson air multipliers but includes a heating element so that it can heat as well as cool, depending on what you set it to do. It can be tilted, has multiple setting levels, and has a safety automatic cut off if tipped. Users say both heater and cooler work well. And it comes with the Dyson 2 year full warranty.
