Considering the spectrum of features the Living Fresh Ozone Ionizer Cleaner has to provide, it would definitely earn a place in every household. It helps to remove airborne particles and odor thus prevent various ailments. The continuous negative ion generater helps ensure minimal air pollution. The ease of cleaning further helps users experience hassle free maintenance thus ensuring optimum user experience.
I have one of these units and am generally quite pleased with it. The only problem I had was that a wire broke on the internal fuse holder and thus it stopped working. After a short search I was able to locate a replacement fuse holder and replaced the broken one.
The unit definitely produces ozone. It is very easy to notice due to the distinctive odor. And while it does have separate electrodes to generate negative ions, I have not seen any proof that this part works. The electrodes have never displayed any buildup of dust/lint as most electrodes do. And there is no discoloration which would leave you to believe if it was working. I have an ion detector and that too does not show any ion output.
In conclusion, this unit is very attractive and well made. It most definitely puts out ozone but if you are looking for negative ions, this is probably not the best choice. I would love to be proven wrong but alas it has not happened.
